Josh Scott has been training in martial arts for 15 years. He has trained under only the best and most renowned martial arts instructors in the world. He began training Jeet Kune Do ( JKD) and Kali ( Filipino Martial Arts) under Sifu Burton Richardson in 2006 and currently holds the rank of Full Instructor in Contemporary Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino martial arts under Sifu Paul Vunak. Sifu Vunak was the hand to hand combat and military edged weapons instructor for SEAL Team 6 and over 17 other government agencies to include CIA, DEA, SWAT teams, and the FBI as well as the founder of Rapid Assault Tactics (R.A.T. System). Additionally he holds the rank of Associate level instructor under Sifu Pedro Rodriguez in JKD Cadre. All of his JKD instructors are direct lineage to Bruce Lee via Guro Dan Inosanto. He holds the rank of Blue shirt ( Apprentice Instructor and 1st degree black belt) within Pulahan Derobio Eskrima (Pedoy style Eskrima lineage) under GM Chris Siangco, Senior Master Chaz Siangco, and Master Christian Siangco. Josh’s focus is raw, simple, direct, and efficient self defense training for the street and lethality for those conducting military operations. He is a 19.5 year current active duty US Navy Corpsman (Combat medic) who has served with Marine Infantry and Marine Special Operations units with combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Philippines. He is also a Navy Survival, Evasion Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Instructor.
